MOLE DAY Saturday, October 23 at 1:00 PM Included in cost of admission Hooray for Mole Day! Mole Day commemorates Avogadro's Number (6.02 x 10^23), which is a basic measuring unit in chemistry first discovered by Amadeo Avogadro (1776-1858). In general, one mole of any substance contains Avogadro's Number of molecules or atoms of that substance...and that’s a lot of molecules. Can you hold a mole of aluminum? How about a mole of salt? Check out our programs to find the mole truth! Come dressed as a mole and receive a special surprise!
