Each course is designed for the skill level of a particular grade level; therefore, the grade levels must be observed. Enrollment is limited to ensure a quality experience. Registrants may attend only those camps for which they are registered. Registrations are not transferable.

All fees are due in full at the time of registration. The cost of a half-day experience is $150.00. If you wish to combine a morning and afternoon session to create a full-day experience your cost is $280.00 for the week. If you are a McWane Science Center member your discounted cost for each session is $125 for a half-day experience and $230.00 for a full-day experience. Camp fees include lunches and snacks. Registrations will be accepted until a camp is full or 7 days prior to the first day of camp. There is a $30.00 service charge for any returned checks. Enrollment will be automatically canceled. The registration fee includes an exclusive McWane Summer Camp t-shirt for each camper. Please indicate on the registration form the size t-shirt needed for each camper.

McWane Science Center reserves the right to cancel camps that do not meet minimum enrollment. If a camp is canceled by McWane Science Center, a full refund will be returned to the registrant. If a registrant cancels a camp, a 50% refund will be made if the registrant notifies the Summer Camp program in writing, postmarked or faxed, no later than 10 working days prior to the first day of camp. Otherwise, NO REFUNDS will be made.

Morning session camps start at 9:00 and end after lunch at 1:30. Afternoon session camps start at 12:30 and end at 5:00. Campers eat lunch together with their same age group. Campers may be dropped off no earlier than 8:45 a.m. and picked up by 1:30 p.m. for morning sessions if they are not staying for an afternoon session. Campers may be dropped off no earlier than 12:15 p.m. and picked up by 5:00 p.m. for afternoon sessions. All campers should be dropped off and picked up on the 2nd Avenue side of McWane Science Center. You must come in and sign your child in before camp each day and sign-out after camp each day. The sign-in and sign-out table will be located near the Vulcan's Dream Machine (the ball machine) in the lobby. Parking is available on the street and in our parking deck (tokens will be available if you parked in our parking deck).

Before and after care options are available beginning at 8:00 a.m. for morning sessions and ending at 5:30 p.m. for afternoon sessions. You must take both a morning and afternoon camp to create a full-day experience. Before and After Care is available for a fee of $5.00 per day (free for McWane Science Center Members). Supervised activities will be provided during these times.

Lunch and snacks are included with your camp registration fee. Please indicate on the registration form your child’s lunch choice for each day of the week. Lunch time is 12:30pm-1:30pm. Campers are supervised during lunch and activities are provided. A snack is offered around 10:30am for morning camps and 3:30pm for afternoon camps. Lunch choices CAN NOT be changed once the camp has begun.
