Golden Pennies, Demonstration Station – 10:30am

Looking for gold at the end of the rainbow? Why not use science to make your own?

Edible Gold, Workshop – 11:30am

Use the science of molecular gastronomy to transform apple juice into semi-solid spheres that pop in your mouth.

Catch a Leprechaun, Classroom 303 – 12:30pm

Be inspired by Vulcan’s Dream Machine in our lobby and create a community Rube Goldberg machine in order to catch a leprechaun.  

St. Patrick’s Snakes, Naturescope – 2:30pm

According to myth, St. Patrick drove all the snakes from Ireland. Join us for this animal encounter to learn more about these slithering reptiles.

Science of Magic, Demonstration Station – 3:30pm

Is it magic or is it science? Step right up and learn how science makes magic real.

Luck of the Irish to you! Ever get tired of looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Well, you are in luck. Join us for a special Itty Bitty St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Our special holiday Little Lab at 10:30 will explore light and rainbows.
