Boy Scout Day

The Boy Scouts is one of America’s most cherished institutions, providing skills to young people for over 100 years. McWane wants to honor these adventurers with their own special day which includes discounted admission and special programming. Robotics programs times are 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Each program is 1 hour. Space is limited; to reserve a spot, please contact our Reservations Department at (205) 714-8414. $7 for Scouts | $2 programming | FREE for parents and troop leaders.

Earth Science Week

Since October 1998, the American Geosciences Institute has organized this national and international event to help the public gain a better understanding and appreciation for the Earth Sciences and to encourage stewardship of the Earth. Member Monday

On the 2nd Monday evening of every month, McWane Science Center opens its doors from 5 to 8 pm to its members for special FREE member-only programming.
