Reserve a Private Camp-In For Your Group...
Explore hands-on learning in McWane Science Center's Adventure Halls, see live aquatic creatures in World of Water, experience the magic of an IMAX film on our giant dome screen, and enjoy great science programs - all in one evening! Once your extraordinary night begins, the action won't stop until you unroll your sleeping bag beside your favorite exhibit and the lights go out!
McWane Science Center Camp-Ins take place on Friday and Saturday nights, usually beginning at 6 p.m. and concluding the following morning at 8 a.m. Camp-Ins must be reserved at least 30 days prior to a desired date. Call (205) 714-8490 to reserve a Camp-In.

MINIMUM campers: 100 +chaperones (per Camp-In)
MAXIMUM campers: 400 +chaperones (per Camp-In)

Costs: $30 for Campers $15 for Chaperones*
*At least a 1:6 chaperone to camper ratio is required at all McWane Science Center Camp-Ins. $15 rate can apply to siblings who wish to attend. If you plan to attend the evening's activities, but not stay overnight, you will still be charged the full Camp-In price. No discounts or coupons apply.

McWane Science Center and the Alabama Symphony Orchestra present an enchanted evening full of captivating music and courageous adventure! Campers meet at Caldwell Park for an Alabama Symphony Orchestra concert and then head to McWane Science Center to learn the science behind Hogwarts School and the secrets of magic!
