 In addition to the Special Event Center, McWane Science Center offers a wide variety of additional spaces that can be combined to create the perfect venue for your event.
Grand Lobby – Airy and versatile, it’s ideal for upscale meetings, banquets or receptions.
HealthSouth City Gallery – Located outside the IMAX Theater exit on level 2, this 2,000-square-foot space is best-suited for wedding receptions, dinners and award banquets.
AmSouth Room – For business meetings, small dinners and baby showers, the AmSouth Room on the mezzanine level offers intimacy and privacy and is available for daytime events.
IMAX® Dome Theater – Host a private screening in Alabama’s largest IMAX Dome theater or bring your own video/slide presentation for corporate events/parties. Larger-than-life images and the world’s most advanced six-channel IMAX digital sound system combine for an amazing entertainment experience.
World of Water – Filled with interactive exhibits and aquatic creatures from around the world, this space on the lower level is overflowing with theme party potential.
Level 1 – With more than 9,000 square feet of interactive exhibits, Science Quest delivers educational adventures for kids and adults alike.
Level 2 – This traveling exhibition hall features nationally touring exhibits, the Explore! Museum Collections Center, the Newsroom Studio and the ever-popular HighCycle.
The Newsroom Studio—This one of a kind exhibit and labspace in the world is an ideal location for business meetings and presentations requiring multimedia capabilities.
