If your little one is eager to learn, take advantage of McWane Science Center’s Little Labs! In Little Lab programs, children will discover the world around them through interactive and hands-on science experiments and activities. A light snack is provided during each class. All children must be potty trained in order to attend Little Labs. Pre-registration is required.
Ages: 3 years to Kindergarten age
Time: 8:30am to 12:00pm

Out of This World—April 23rd
Young astronauts will lift off from earth to fly through the solar system in search of stars, comets and planets. They will learn how gravity fuels motion and light can travel millions of miles. What lies beyond the outer planets? Come blast off in this Little Lab and see!
Flower Power—May 7th & 21st
Roots and petals and stems, oh my! Young botanists will discover how plants and flowers grow, learn how to cultivate plants, study the parts of the plant, and even decorate their very own flower pot. Make sure you bring your green thumb and gardening gloves!
Birds, Bees and Butterflies—May 14th & 28th
Spring is here and your little ones will explore the wonders of the creatures that help make this time of year so magical! We will learn how nature’s pollinators assist plant seeds to travel and grow into beautiful flowers and even vast forests!
