Due to the Annual Veteran’s Day parade, the City of Birmingham will close all streets along the parade route from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm. This includes the streets surrounding McWane Science Center and the entrance and exit of our parking deck. Please be advised that there will be parking challenges downtown, so plan accordingly.
Once the parade begins, no vehicle will be able to enter or exit our parking deck or any parking space located within the parade route until the parade has ended.
McWane Science Center will remain open during the entirety of this event, and we welcome you to our museum and on our plaza
