Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. The Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
Joining us to celebrate Museum Day 2018, WOMEN MAKING HISTORY: Trailblazers in the arts, sciences, innovation & culture, will be; Lauren Allred, Director of the Cahaba Environmental Center at Living River, on Level 2, from 11:00 to 4:00; Kristina Visscher and Mandy Biles from the UAB Department of Neurobiology in the GENEius Lab, from 11:00 to 3:00; and the Society of Women Engineers, at the Demonstration Station, from 10:00 to 6:00.
